Holiday Blocks Kit
Tracy has been hard at work on a new Holiday kit - think Christmas in July. However, once she got weaving she realized with a natural cotton warp any color would work. She dug through her stash of ribbons to see what would work for aprons and hot pads and used colors to coordinate.
The really fun thing about this kit is that it is so versatile - both in what colors you can weave with and the items you can make. Tracy always tries to weave multiple items on one warp - frequently she has leftovers from towel warps which become hot pads and aprons. So this time she planned to make those items up front!
The warp is 24" on the loom, woven in twill blocks/turned twill. An 8 shaft loom is needed.
The kit includes: Bockens 8/2 cotton unbleached/natural 2 spools and 1 spool each of 2 contrasting colors. Instructions included for 2 no sew items - a rectangle (kitchen towel), a square (bread cloth or table square) and 3 sewn items - apron, hot pads or wine bags! There is enough yarn for a 5 1/2 yard warp, you choose what you want to weave and the length of the warp.

Jewel tone - #476/magenta and #492/dark teal
