Seaside Towels - Rigid Heddle

Soft and absorbent, these hand towels are available in three beautiful colorways.

Included with the kit are instructions to make two plaid towels using a rigid heddle loom:  one woven in plain weave, and one woven in a soft pickup pattern.  The warp and weft are 8/2 unmercerized cotton. The finished sizes of the towels are approximately 12.5” x 20”. Each cone in the kit contains approximately 315 yards of yarn.

Equipment needed:

• Rigid Heddle Loom with at least 15-inch weaving width
• 10 dent rigid heddle.
• Pickup stick and a stick or boat shuttle

Contents of Kit by Colorway (1.5 oz cones):

• Bonfire Embers: Five deep colors of burgundy, wine, brown, camel, and charcoal, reminiscent of the glowing embers of nighttime bonfire.
• High Tide: Soft ocean colors of blues and greens, topped with frothy white waves.
• Sea Glass: Five pastel colors of greens and blues evoking the feeling of gentle, frosted sea glass.
